"A woman named Lyenna Crosse has come to me for help, believing I am the Fateless One. She has asked me to help retrieve her stolen necklace from a thief named Tuven."

Description[]

A Preordained Encounter is the first quest available for the Unbound faction in the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Fatesworn DLC.

Walkthrough[]

Speak to Tuven[]

After receiving the quest from Lyenna Crosse head toward Revival’s front gate and speak to Tuven Lynch. He’ll deny the accusations of theft and assert that Lyenna gave him the necklace. At this point the Fateless One is presented with three conversation options:

  1. I’LL BUY IT FROM YOU: If the Fateless One bribes Tuven with 5,000 gold he’ll gleefully reveal that he sold the necklace to the trader Dramil Frink.
  2. I’LL JUST TAKE IT OFF YOUR CORPSE (PERSUASION): If the Fateless One is successful with persuasion, Tuven will cower in fear and reveal that he sold the necklace to the trader Dramil Frink. There is a 66% chance of success if the persuasion skill is at maximum. If unsuccessful, the first and third conversation options remain available.
  3. I’M NOT LOOKING FOR TROUBLE: Tuven will simply scoff at the statement and bring the conversation to an end by threatening the Fateless One. The first and second conversation options will remain available.

Retrieve the Necklace from Dramil[]

“I’ve learned that Lyenna Crosse’s necklace was sold to a camp merchant named Dramil. I should ask him to return it.”

Speak to Dramil Frink inside the wood palisade that surrounds Revival. He not only confirms that he has the necklace, but is also interested in selling it. The Fateless One is then presented with the following conversation options:

  1. I’LL BUY IT FROM YOU: The Fateless One can buy the necklace back from Dramil for 25,000 gold.
  2. YOU NEED TO GIVE IT TO ME… NOW (PERSUASION): If the Fateless One is successful with persuasion, Dramil will decide he’s in over his head and immediately hand over the necklace. There is a 66% chance of success if the persuasion skill is at maximum. If unsuccessful, the first and third conversation options remain available.
  3. I’M NOT LOOKING FOR TROUBLE: Dramil will end the conversation and invite the Fateless One to return when they’re ready to bargain. The first and second conversation options remain available.

Return to Lyenna[]

“I’ve retrieved Lyenna Crosse’s religious necklace from the merchant Dramil. I should return it to its owner.”

Speak to Lyenna Crosse to return her necklace and complete the quest.

Reward[]

”I returned Lyenna Crosse’s religious necklace after it was stolen, and she was very grateful. She claims that the pendant has begun to glow in my presence, proof that I am the Fateless One.”
