Barten is the Varani leader of the small, silkfarming village of Canneroc.

Details[]

After entering the village of Canneroc in Webwood and fighting off the Giant Spiders attacking the villagers, the acting leader Garaner Vernt will explain that Barten led a band of men to deal with Canneroc's spider problem and has not yet returned. During conversation Vernt hints at the premise of killing Barten if he is found alive.

Barten can initially be found in Shade River Caves.

Quests[]

A Tangled Web
If chosen over Garaner in A Tangled Web, he will provide the quests Cutting the Threads and The Widow's Wrath to the Fateless One.

Additional Info[]

if chosen over Garaner in A Tangled Web, will banish Garaner then practice with his spear.
