The Bear is a creature that appears in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The first time you encounter a bear, is when you escape the Well of Souls.
Bears may seem pretty mundane compared to many enemies in Amalur, but they do a fair amount of damage to an unprepared character and often attack with combos that can make other enemies more threatening and like to get in the way of spells and arrows intended to interrupt lighter targets.
Bears resist physical and piercing damage.
