Ebony Staff is a staff available to the Fateless One in Amalur. Made of ebony wood and using a magically-infused prismere shard as a focus gem, they are the most powerful staves available in the base game, being stronger than Ash Staves.

Notes[]
Added in the Teeth of Naros DLC, the highest tier of generic Primal Staff does have a higher base damage than a generic ebony staff. However, this only applies to staves with Primal Damage as their main affinity, as primal staves cannot have another element as their main affinity. This means that for the 3 main elemental types of staves (Fire, Ice, & Lightning), Ebony staves are still the most powerful staves available.
