First located in Holnstead in Ettinmere, his location varies as you conduct his quest.
Although there are many Ettin in the area (who are reputed to eat humans), Enconeg is able to live there, as his father before him.
Quotes[]
“I've been a fisherman on these shores since I could cast a net. Even the ettin leave me be. Used to be, this was the Holn's lake. But I lost my wife Imelda to fever, and my nephew abandoned me to go to Didenhil. And now, I'm just an old man content to die in the house my family built here years ago.”
— when asked about himself.
“They're just a rebellious set of idiots. Can't take two steps without tearing their tribe to pieces. The only thing that binds them is their shamanistic superstitions. But you took care of that well enough by killing their shamans.”
“She might rest a little easier now, thanks to your help in getting back her grave charm. Thank you, stranger.”
— when asked about his deceased wife.
“Well, I've seen a few fine women in my day. Even met a Fae woman in Gorhart, long ago. But that Nymph -- she's something else. Her skin's luster... her heaving prow and ample stern... - Except for the fishy parts, I mean. But even so, I've fished this lake enough that form is... pleasingly familiar.”
