Walkthrough[]
Speak to Katarina Hoffman[]
Follow the quest marker to Katarina Hoffman’s location inside the main camp and speak to her. When she learns that the Fateless One was sent by Kirby, Katarina explains that someone has been trying to create trouble within the camp by stealing, looting, and burning the camp’s supplies. After revealing that she and Kirby have their suspicions of who the culprit may be, she asks the Fateless One to search for a supply cart that’s still missing.
Recover the Stolen Cart[]
- “Katarina, the owner of the supply warehouse, has recently had a cart go missing. Its goods are invaluable to the people of Revival. I need to find and recover the cart before it’s too late.”
Proceed southwest to find the stolen cart. The cart appears to have been abandoned, but as the Fateless One approaches a trio of dagger-wielding Vagabonds suddenly appear and attack.
Return to Katarina[]
- “I’ve recovered the stolen cart but it’s been looted of all its useful supplies. I should return to Katarina in Revival with the bad news. The Warsworn will bring the cart back to the warehouse.”
With the Vagabonds defeated return to Revival and speak to Katarina Hoffman.
Gather Explosives[]
- ”Katarina wants to set a trap for the saboteurs, but she needs explosives. She’s convinced a band of mountain Kobolds lives someplace nearby, and they would have what she needs. Of course, I’ll still need to deal with the Kobolds.”
Proceed towards the lake and swim towards the northernmost waterfall. There the Fateless One will discover the entrance to a cave hidden behind the waterfall. Proceed inside and defeat the Kobold Savages and Rogues found at the end of the cave. Search the Kobold’s camp for a sack that contains Black Powder. Once it has been recovered, return to Katarina Hoffman and speak with her.
Set a Trap for the Saboteur[]
- “I’ve recovered the cart and gathered the explosives. Now Katarina can set her trap for the saboteur. After nightfall, I must sneak behind the bushed and wait for the saboteur to strike. The Warsworn will be nearby to assist me.”
At approximately 9:30 p.m. Katarina will hide behind some bushes close to the booby-trapped cart to wait for the saboteur. Crouch beside her and watch as the culprit arrives and springs the trap.
Speak to Tuven Lynch[]
- “The trap worked! Katarina and the Warsworn have captured a suspected saboteur, the settler Tuven Lynch. I should speak to Tuven and gather more information about his motives.”
Interrogate Tuven Lynch to learn that the mastermind behind the trouble inside the camp is the Augur, who has been attempting to sow division and discord among Revival’s settlers in the hopes of attracting additional religious converts to Telogrus.
Find the “Prophet,” Augur[]
- “Augur, the leader of the Telogrus worshipping faction in Revival, is behind the recent attacks on supplies. Apparently he’s trying to sow chaos among the settlers to drive them to worship Telogrus, the only being who can keep them safe in these trying times. I must speak to Augur in his camp.”
Now that they've been exposed as the true saboteurs, Augur and his henchmen launch a sudden attack against the camp. Protect the settlers and aid the Warsworn defenders by defeating the chaos cultists and their prophet.
Talk to Drystan Rydder[]
- “With Augur defeated and the attacks on the warehouse ended, I should speak to Drystan Rydder about what the Warsworn plan to do next to protect Revival.”
Speak to Drystan Rydder to complete the quest.
Reward[]
- ”I’ve flushed out Revival’s saboteur and revealed Augur to be a dangerous criminal. It’s sad because the people here have even less to believe in now, but sometimes the truth hurts.”
