Description[]

Wild Evenroot is an unusual plant that can only be found in the Teeth of Naros, and only collected after the quest Will and Waters is completed. The Wild Evenroots must be watered with an Amphora filled with water from Njordir's Font before they can be harvested. Four Wild Evenroots can be watered before you must refill the Amphora, and the Evenroots regrow over time after being harvested.

When harvesting this plant, the player can receive any of four varieties of Evenroot: Primal, Iced, Flamed, and Shocked. Each harvest can yield up to three assorted units of Evenroot, though usually only one and sometimes nothing at all depending on the player's Alchemy level.

Primal Evenroot's only use appears to be the creation of buffing potions (which add primal damage) when combined with Scarwood Bark (Novice), Bloodroot (Journeyman), and Essence of Fate (Master). The resulting potions are called Primal Rush (Minor, Greater, and Master respectively).

Details[]

  • +10% Lightning Damage

Consuming Primal Evenroot by itself provides the following effects:

  • South of the Southern Henge in the Idylla Sewer, in the area with the Marauders, in the south-west corner of the map
  • South of the Eastern Henge in the Idylla Sewer on the way to Undersewer, in area with Pteryx. Along left wall side after descending the stair
  • The northernmost and southwest rooms of the Air Shrine Caverns
  • South and sightly EAST of the Henge to Idylla, along the soutern cliff by the stairs leading to the Warrens (correction added, it's actually east. Do not confuse this with the next one)

  • Inside a cave with Kollossae Altar, north of Hyperian Temple.
  • On an offshoot path north of the Earth Shrine (on the left cliff, right before the Marauders shrine)

  • In a a cave with Kollossae Altar between Secandra's Camp and Remes' Camp

  • Northeast area inside Kahrunk's Tower, the area with open-view cliff scenery
  • By the southern chest in Hystis' Camp
  • Directly southeast of Hystis' Camp, along the southern cliff (you can see it clearly when exiting Hystis' Camp)

  • Inside Nerotelos, at the very north

Notes[]

  • When used in the creation of alchemical potions, Iced, Flamed, and Shocked Evenroots act as replacements for White Flake, Embereyes, and Eel Petal, respectively. Also, when using an elemental Evenroot in experimentation the resulting recipe will not mention the Evenroot as an ingredient. However, it will list the one from the original recipe instead.

Bugs[]

  • Activating Wild Evenroot can cause a glitch that resets chests and hidden caches within the Teeth of Naros, allowing the player to loot them again. This glitch can be replicated infinitely.
  • While searching for Wild Evenroot, the Amphora may duplicate to form multiple copies of the item. This will occupy slots in the inventory, and can't be removed. This occurs when one refills an Amphora before a prompt appears to refill.
    • To avoid this, wait for the prompt to refill the Amphora (when it is completely empty) to avoid having multiple Amphorae in your inventory.
