The Hyperian Tragedy is a historical event in the history of the Kollossae.
When the city of Idylla was raised to the sky, the Hyperian, which was supposed to be a central part of the city, did not rise with it.
Arkes, the current Primos (i.e. leader) of the city, went to the Hyperian Complex to force the magical construct to rise. Arkes failed and was killed instead, along with the Kollossae guards who were with him.
After that, a deep square pit remained in the heart of the city, reminding the Kollossae of their failure.
Anokatos became new Primos, and few of the Kollossae were inclined to even talk about that incident.
