Light Armor is a type of armor in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It uses the chest or body slot, similar to the Cuirasses of fighters or the Robes of mages. Designed for use by rogue-style characters, all light armor will have a Finesse requirement. It always adds a bonus to Critical Hit Damage and can have a multitude of other enchantments. All light armor provides the following effect:
- +12% Critical Hit Damage
Note: Light armor is sometimes referred to as a "vest", or even simply "armor." In contrast, heavy armor for Might characters is almost always referred to as either a "cuirass" or "plate armor".
Crafting Light Armor[]
- Main article: Blacksmithing
The Fateless One can craft light armor at any Blacksmithing Forge by using a leather chestpiece and a lining; bindings and strings are optional components. With sufficient skill, mastercrafted light armors that offer physical resistance can be created.
The Fateless One can also disassemble existing light armors for salvage, recovering some of the above-mentioned components.
