Description[]

"I am Lord Ambyth, leader of the Order of Fateweavers. I have watched you from a distance, with both dread and fascination."

Details[]

Lord Ambyth is a male Dokkalfar ennobled Fateweaver holding the ranks of Lord, Viator of the Scholia Arcana, and leader of the Order of Fateweavers. The Fateless One meets him after answering his summons during the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Fatesworn DLC quest: The New God. Although the Fateless One’s actions have brought an end to the Crystal War, Ambyth reveals they have damaged the Tapestry of Fate to such an extent that it has begun to unravel. To make matters worse, there have been reports from the west that Niskaru attacks are increasing, a mysterious new brotherhood is gaining power and influence, and a new threat has appeared in the land of Mithros: Telogrus, the God of Chaos. Despite his personal misgivings, Lord Ambyth commissions the Fateless One to find Agarth in Mithros and assist his investigation into these developments and to find a way to reverse the damage to the Tapestry of Fate, thereby saving Amalur once more from destruction.

Location[]

Lord Ambyth can always be found inside the Main Hall of the Scholia Arcana’s campus in Rathir’s Upper City.

Yes. We did not believe it possible. Sadly, many things that we believed to be impossible have come to pass. There is not much time.

Lord Ambyth, when asked, “Is the Weave really unravelling?”

It is true. I cannot see your fate, but I choose to place my faith in people not in their predestined paths. May you make good choices.

Lord Ambyth, when asked, “Is the Weave really unravelling?”

Not all Fateweavers align themselves with the Order, and those in service of our enemies will know what we plan to do. You will be expected. Anonymity may be your greatest weapon.

  • Lord Ambyth is one of the few individuals in Amalur that know of the Fateless One’s victory over Tirnoch. How he came by that knowledge is currently unknown.
