- “Young settler Maisie Calhoun has recently returned to Revival, and she discovered some of her belongings missing. One of the items is a lucky ring she calls “Maisie’s Luck.” I’ve agreed to keep an eye out for the ring as I travel.”
Description[]
Lucky Charm is a side quest available in the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Fatesworn DLC expansion pack. The Fateless One receives this quest by speaking to Maisie Calhoun in Revival after rescuing her from Vagabond slavers during the side quest The Taken.
Walkthrough[]
Search for Maisie’s Luck[]
After receiving the quest from Maisie Calhoun proceed south down The Westroad until the Fateless One reaches the southern end of the lake just to the east of the Roadside Shack. There the Fateless One discovers a whirlpool close to the shore. Dive down the whirlpool to recover Maisie’s Luck.
Return Maisie’s Luck[]
- “I’ve discovered Maisie Calhoun’s ring, “Maisie’s Luck,” and I should return it to her. She is currently living in the refugee camp of Revival near the mountain path into Mithros. She has offered me a substantial reward.”
Head northward up The Westroad and return to Revival to speak with Maisie Calhoun. As they draw close Maisie will confront the Fateless One and ask if they were able to find her ring. At this point the Fateless One is presented with the following dialogue options:
- I’VE GOT IT!: The Fateless One will return Maisie’s Luck to its rightful owner.
- I COULDN’T FIND IT. (PERSUASION): If the Fateless One has mastered the Persuasion skill they will have a 66% chance of convincing Maisie Calhoun that her ring has been lost.
Regardless of the dialogue option chosen the quest will be completed.
Reward[]
Return Maisie’s Luck[]
- “I've returned the ring "Maisie's Luck" to Maisie Calhoun, and she is grateful for the help.”
If the Fateless One returns Maisie’s Luck they will receive the following reward:
- Random Rare Weapon or Armor
- Level-dependent XP
Successful Persuasion[]
- ”I cheated Maisie Calhoun out of her ring, “Maisie’s Luck,” and now she’s stuck in Revival… and with bad luck.”
If the Fateless One successfully persuades Maisie Calhoun that her ring is lost they will receive the following reward:
- Maisie’s Luck
- Level-dependent XP
Failed Persuasion[]
- "I tried to cheat Maisie Calhoun out of her ring, “Maisie’s Luck,” but she found out. It wasn’t my best idea."
If the Fateless One fails to persuade Maisie Calhoun that her ring is lost they will lose both Maisie’s Luck and the offered reward.
