Rare is the distinction given to pieces of armor, weapons, or items that are more difficult to acquire (typically) than either Common or Infrequent pieces, but are easier to acquire and have lesser stats than those of Unique or Set Items of the same or similar levels
Items, weapons, and armor that are Rare will be distinguished by a blue lettering in the naming of the item.
