Description[]
Bisarane has vanished after betraying me and the rest of the House of Sorrows to the Tuatha. I need to find him, but I don't know enough about where he went and how he got there. Taibreah may know.
Walkthrough[]
- After entering Esharra, Taibreah awaits nearby. She informs the Fateless One of the Gallows Tree and its nature, and how Bisarane created a barrier around it.
One of the barrier nexus
- There are 4 nexus of energy, weak-points in the barrier's energy flow (all marked on the map). Immediately after the conversation Taibreah starts running towards the first one.
- The 1st nexus is guarded by Caelrod, who is under Bisarane's influence, and a single Ancient Leanashe.
- Once the guardians are dead dispelling the nexus is as simple as pulling a lever, literally.
- The 2nd nexus is guarded by Alarane and a Bog Thresh.
- Near the second nexus there is a shrine to the Weeping King, which confers the Death's Touch blessing.
- The 3rd nexus is guarded by Myrcyr and 3 Tuatha Zealots.
- The 4th and final nexus is guarded by Cadoroc, a Giant Spider and 3 Venomspitters.
- The barrier falls when the last nexus is dispelled, and Bisarane can be confronted near the Tree. You can attempt to persuade him to stop, but success will only tell you that he believes the Tuatha have to survive the war so they can survive the future challenges of the world - he attacks no matter what the conversation choice.
- Bisarane summons several Niskaru Hunters and Faer Gorta to his aid or a Sorrows Tender that he repeatedly heals. This is the best time to use the reckoning mode for the XP boost.
- Fateshifting may be much more efficient in Esharra, for some players, Bisarane dropped 15 Essences of Fate.
- After the fight, The Weeping King/Taibreah will seal the Sorrows in his/her being, remaining forever in Esharra and returning the Fateless One back to The Midden.
- The final step is to bear witness to the House's destruction (level-based XP ~5080 at level 38, and Twist of Fate - Child of Autumn and the staff Sorrow, but no Gold).

Bugs[]
- There is an issue with the final part of the quest. After you destroy the four nexuses, you are supposed to be able to confront Bisarane, however he does not show up. There is no known fix for this bug. You also cannot fast travel to any other locations. It is advised that you make an additional save before you have Taibreah transport you to Esharra.
