Proposal to refer to ability bonuses by item names. Sorcery effects would be "magus effects" and perhaps "archmagus effects"; Might would be "berserker's effects" and perhaps "juggernaut's effects"; and Finesse would be "trickster's effects" or "spy's effects." Could be confusing for players less steeped in the game mechanics, yes, but that should be avoided as long as terms are properly linked to this page. I, for one, see great potential benefit in having the shorthand. BorosPaladin (talk) 14:03, July 28, 2014 (UTC)

I'm confused by what you mean Boros. What do you mean? Do you want us to change the names of "Might", "Finesse" and "Sorcery" to the other names that you have suggested? Sorry if I have misunderstood. --WikiaWizard (talk) 22:58, July 28, 2014 (UTC)

No, not at all. I'm just suggesting that across the wiki, whenever it becomes relevant (which, in all honesty, isn't often), instead of writing "+1 to all unlocked Sorcery abilities", we could just write "magus." FOr context, instead of saying "Storm Bolt may be upgraded beyond rank 6 with items that have "+1 to all unlocked Sorcery abilities,"," it could simply be "Storm Bolt may be upgraded beyond rank 6 with magus items." It's just a formatting thing, nothing more. I certainly wouldn't suggest that we refer to the ability trees by other names. ;) BorosPaladin (talk) 23:11, July 28, 2014 (UTC)

I see what you mean and you've done it on the Longsword Mastery page so I completely understand that. But, could I ask where you got the names from or are we just "creating" some to make things a little easier? -WikiaWizard (talk) 01:27, July 30, 2014 (UTC)

Oh, no. These are the item standard names. A ring that does nothing but "+1 to all unlocked Sorcery abilities" is a "Magus' Ring". An prismere shield that gives no special bonuses besides "+1 to all unlocked Might abilities" is a "Kite shield of the berserker". That's where I'm getting this from. Omission...[]

The accessory necklace, "RAVENCLAW", adds +1 to Might Abilities (also, +6% Piercing Dmg., +6% Bleeding Dmg.) - some one good with editing include this, my career as editor is long-dead... The probability of receiving this item seems to be increased by choosing the "Duelist"-Warden-whatever Might-Finesse synthesis pathway...

LATER: Mercenary "Rogue" boots possess +1 to Finesse Abilities as first property. I'll be honest. I hate wikipedia personalities and I hate sounding like I am criticizing others when I really am not meaning to seem that way, being a negativistic officious ass... I should stop myself now. Anyway, good luck to people: passionate, intelligent people created this game and being thorough and professional on this wikia-platform, is the right thing to do. The syndrome of Wikipedia editorial megalomania and hatred for the common man, I cannot do this... Sorry... Hopefully others get more organized and manage this platform the right way... I thought I could do it, but I cannot: "Wikipedia", its canting rhetoric of liberal-humanist mawkishness, disguising its prosaic all-too-human agenda, and how the whole project turned out, the end result being the "common man" of the democracy they mendaciously pretend to value so highly, just being insulted, guilt-tripped, pathologized, and worse... If only people knew how DIRTY those who pose as ANGELS OF LIGHT, those most of all, claiming to exist as incarnate "LIGHTS UNTO THE GENTILES"... I can't even talk about a video game, the behind-the-scenes reality is so morally heinous. GOOD LUCK, IN ANY CASE, IT'S A GOOD GAME DESERVING GOOD FANS AND GOOD PRESENTATIONAL "COVERAGE" FROM THE FAN-BASE ANGLE EVEN. (Modern Western democracy is not what it paints itself as and the principle of nihilism is the only authority today, and a ferociously tyrannical one; predictably, the Western counter-elite to masquerade to the unitiated multitude, its criminality as "liberal progressive" Enlightenment, etc. as in the "wikipedia" project, all sickening. NOT ENOUGH TIME TO EXPLAIN.)
