- ”Brogan MacQueen and his hunting party are on a quest to slay the “giants” of Mithros, hoping to regain their honor lost in the House of Valor. They are looking for the largest and deadliest foes and Wild Fae in all of Amalur. Once our quarry is killed, we should take trophies as signs of our victories. Brogan promised a worthwhile reward for killing all four of the “giants”.”

The Giant Killer is a side quest available in the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Fatesworn DLC expansion pack. It becomes available to the Fateless One after speaking to Brogan MacQueen on Crow Peak in the Crownhold region.

Kill the Giants of Mithros: The Root Golem[]
The Root Golem can be found west of Revival beyond the Sacred Grove. The giant is accompanied by a large cadre of Boggart Zealots. Kill them first to prevent them from swarming over the Fateless One or using their kamikaze attacks, then focus on the Root Golem. Once It’s been slain search the giant’s corpse to find a piece of The Goliath Armor Set and claim the Ancient Root as a trophy.

Kill the Giants of Mithros: The Ice Troll[]
The Ice Troll can be found in a cave just north of Brogan MacQueen’s location on Crow Peak. Use the nearby jump point to drop down to the cliff below and land the Fateless One a short distance from the entrance from the Ice Troll’s lair. Once it has been slain search the giant’s corpse to find a piece of The Goliath Armor Set and claim the Troll Finger as a trophy.

Kill the Giants of Mithros: The Prismere Troll[]
The Prismere Troll can be found east of the Madding Wind fortress inside a cave near the Icy Graveyard. Once it has been slain search the giant’s corpse to find another piece of The Goliath Armor Set and claim the Troll Tusk as a trophy.

Kill the Giants of Mithros: The Jottun Runelord[]
The Jottun Runelord can be found down a narrow ravine in the northwestern corner of The Westroad near the Collapsed Bridge. Once it has been slain search the giant’s corpse to find another piece of The Goliath Armor Set and claim the Frosthammer Fragment as a trophy.

Return to Brogan MacQueen[]
- ”I’ve killed all four of the Mithros “giants” and collected a trophy from each. I should return to Brogan MacQueen and the hunting part in Crow Peak.”
Return to Crow Peak and speak to Brogan MacQueen to complete the quest and collect the Fateless One’s reward.
