Description[]
Secandra and I have escaped the Hyperian Complex, where Anokatos tricked me into granting him access to the Hyperian, an artifact of the gods which he plans on using to destroy the city of Idylla. I should speak to Secandra and see if there's some way we can stop him.
Walkthrough[]
- Talk to Secandra at the top of the Hyperian Temple. She will tell you to travel to Nyxaros in the hope that the secret to stopping Anokatos will be found within.
- Travel to Nyxaros, and approach Secandra to talk with her. Travel down, killing the guards along the way, and then approach the altar which will instruct you to travel downward quickly.
- Continue onward until Secandra stops you and tells you that Anokatos probably murdered his competitors for the position of Primos.
- Secandra will give an item (Titan's Cuff,Lightning Cage and Zelus & Bia). Like many rewards in Teeth of Naros, the reward is probably determined by data gathered about your combat style.
- Next you will find the Choir Master, who will tell you the Counsel is dying and the slaves will be executed. Pick which one you will save first.
- If you want to save the Counsel first, go south. You will get more dialogue with him and Secandra, but the slaves will be dead when you come to help them.
- If you want to save the slaves first, go east. Operate four levers which release the slaves. The Jottun slaves will immediately begin combat with the prison guards. They will come with you and help you fight the guards by the counsel. It makes no difference to the outcome of the counsel meeting other than dialogue options. The end result is the same - the counsel dies. Kill the guards surrounding the slaves, with some help from the slaves.
- Finally, find Arkes—the Counsel—deep inside the caves. Talk to him and learn that Anokatos kept him alive. The quest finishes at the end of the conversation and leveled XP is given.
- Talk to Secandra to begin the next quest Ascension.
Possible Bugs[]
- On the PC version, if you enter Nyxaros with a quest NPC already following you around (the bug with Ordo for example), Secandra will not be able to advance with you. She may come to talk about Anokatos murdering his competitors and give you the reward, but then she will go back up to the entrance and it will be impossible to trigger the dialogue with the wounded Counsel; you won't be able to open the hidden doors behind him; and you won't have any way to advance through the main quest to find a way out of the Teeth of Naros anymore.
- If you kill your follower and re-enter Nyxaros, Secandra will join and follow you, but it will still be impossible to trigger the dialogue with the Counsel.
