Todd McFarlane is a Canadian writer and artist, best known for his comic book series Spawn. In the late 1980's he became popular for his art duties on the Amazing Spider-Man comic book series, prompting him to have his own Spider-Man title. He also worked on several other comic books, such as DC Comics' Infinity Inc.. He also founded the McFarlane toys company and the Todd McFarlane Entertainment company.
In 2006 it was announced that McFarlane would become the new Art Director of the recently formed 38 Studios game development company. Currently, he's working on their first game, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
